The Martha Mariam Samajanam or Sthree Samajanam is the women wing of the Malankara Orthodox Church and was started in 1928 in objectives to PRAY, ILLUMINE, and ACT. In 1964, the constitution of the organization was recognized by the Synod. The head office is the 'Vanithasamajam Mandiram' in Kanjikuzhi, Kottayam. About one-lakh women are members of the Marthamariam Samajam.

Sthree Samajanam meets once a month underneath the leadership of Achen. The ladies of the church discuss and learn about the Lord and how to be a righteous women .The women of the church look upon the life of the women in the bible. There is prayer, song fellowship and studying done every month.

Stuff they do....

They hold bake sales yearly in which the money they make is profitted to the poor in India.

They also raise money to help women in India and missions in India.

They visit the sick
